White flowers. Variegated foliage up to 12cm (5 in) from April to May. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.
The dark green foliage with its wide, gold margins usually stops in their tracks visitors to a garden. It forms a luscious dense mat, topped in May with small white flowers.
