Pink flowers up to 7cm (3 in) from December
to March. Prefers well drained soil in shade. Selected for the unmarked
silver colour of the leaves.
Delightful winter flowering plant. Sometimes the flowers are fragrant.
They are one of the hardiest and easiest species, seeding themselves around
freely in the garden once established. Naturally distributed along an
arc from Bulgaria to Israel, including the Caucasus.
