CYCLAMEN PURPURASCENS
at Hoo House

Deep pink scented flowers up to 10cm (4 in) from June to September. Prefers humus rich soil in shade.
Wide distribution in Europe and extends further north than any other species. Scented, particularly in warm still conditions. It is essentially a woodland plant and thrives in leaf litter. For more info: The Cyclamen Society.
